Default How to lock diffs?

Im trying to lock both front and rear diffs on my emaxx, and I have no clue how to go about doing it. I took apart the diff and i see two orbital gears that mesh with the larger beveled gear. How and what do I do to lock them?
Thanks.,

Easiest way to lock Maxx diffs is just to get the diff spool from Traxxas. It's like $11 or $12 each.

Sweet, I always seen that, but never knew what it did :P
Now, I don't need anything else right? That large cirle is actually a beveled gear? I can't tell from that pic. Or do I use the stock one from my diffs?

This is weird, I took apart my rear diff. I messed around with the gears and when I finally couldn't figure out how to lock it, I somehow managed to lock it!!! lol I have absolutely no idea what I did. I went back to take them apart and couldn't find anything wrong. Any idea what I did?
