Default My crawler build; Lumpy

After months of sitting idle, watching post I have gotten around to finishing my crawler and posting pics. I also posted a pic of a tuber that somday I would finish.

XRC chassis, link plates, links
'pede tranny/avid bearings, 55t
12t pinion, 87 spur turning tmaxx shafts
locked axles, modsed blackfoot axles
Mgt shocks
'pede wheels, weighted Moabs with Hpi 'yok foams
hacked up parma chevy body

The tuber somday will turn a stealth tranny and wheely king axles.
Both are (will be) controlled with a futaba 3pm and hitec 5945mg servo(s).
No action shots outside the house yet, hopefully I could make it to Folsom this month!

Nice work Lump.. Looks really good. the parma body is cool the color came out very well.

Hope to see some action pics soon though. Keep up the good work. Id like to see more of our tuber build when you start. I am interested in these tubers, I myself have just finished one.. enjoy your new crawler

Im tryin to make the chevy look like somthing that the good 'ol boys have up here. gonna put a gun rack in the cab, add some primer and lots of rust and body damage. Just trying to deciede if I want to use a stealthy or the extra 'pede tranny for the tuber. Im also working on a thrown together chassis for my buddy, will have pics of that one tonight!

And here are the pics I promised like three weeks ago. This is my buddies, and since it is ugly, but works I call it Chitty Chitty Bang Bang...
I cut apart the stock plates, used a Kyosho Ultima trans (has gear diff), 'pede axles and bearings. Traxxas links, MGT shocks and recently switched to Losi white springs. Tobee 24mm widners and alum servo mount. A Hitec 645mg will take orders from a Jr xr2 and a Ai speedo teels the 55t how fast. No body yet, but will run a bushwhacker some day. Hope you like!
