I know it is not crawling but it is very similar to crawling and requires speed, power and a lot of torque.
I saw it on tv and it seemed it would be a lot of fun. I was intersted if any one else did this.
im going to try it as soon as i can get ST1 working.

i have heard of rock racers...rock crawlers that have suped up engines in them...but you could very easily make a nitro truck into one of these...just need some padddle tires...crazy fast engine.....low gearing...it would look sweet with a tube frame body...i think it would be easy.

I have not seen anything like that before, but it sounds like a cool project! I would imagine a long wheelbase might be a good idea, and some decent weight on the front end for steering.

I found this video of a 4x4 hill climbing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McBznI6h2jA . I was talking to a guy who came in to my work and he hill climbs its timed u get points for the faster u get up the hill and u lose points for falling back down. I have a 45 deg slope/dam wall that would rock when its wet as i said B4 im going to try it as soon as my ST1 is running again

... I dont personally have one but I know a few that go up to the culm banks near my house... culm is leftover coal dust from mines in case anyone doesnt know, there is acres upon acres of this stuff in NEPA iand is awesome for riding of any type.. some are 80 degree climbs that go up some 400 foot high.. rediculous!!
I take my kx or trx300 down there to hill climb and its wicked fun.. but the guys with the nitro cars seem to be having just as much fun as I do..
