I custome built my chassis and have decided to go with TLT axles. I have mounted an Associated Stealth tranny. Here is my problem.....I do not want to run dog bones for my drive lines. What else can I use? I made some aluminum drive shafts out of 1/4 aluminum rod but I'm still not very happy. I want a slidding type driveline similar to the traxxas. I have not figured the mounting schematics. Pictures would help! When I'm at max articulation the damn shafts fall out, and so would the dog bones.

may require a little modding to get the right length. you can also use pede sliders and revo sliders, that are too big imo though.

I use the maxx shafts. very strong, and wont fall out. You could try a rubber washer behind each end of the dog bone to take up some of the slack, might help with it falling out.

If you're feeling creative, you can try extending a set of Revo or TMaxx shafts. That way they will telescope but still be longer than stock. Places like [link=http://www.rc4wd.com]RC4WD[/link] also sell the Punisher shafts in varying lengths, if you want to spend money on it.
