I see sticky's for tranny's and wheels. How about axles? I would like to build a crawler out of parts from my vintage hilux and a 4 year old tmaxx.

TLT, Hi Lift, wheely king and Axial are just a few I have noticed in posts here. It would be helpful if dimensions were spec'd, such as a pic with a ruler/scale.

Which drive shafts are compatible with diff input shafts? How are steering servos mounted to each axle? Can they be purchased or home made?

There seems to be plenty of posts about 4 link connectors, but a single thread may also be helpful to newbs like me.

You know a Hilux is worth over $800 these days right?

Some NIB go for as much as 1500. (Mine is not NIB). The sterring knuckles have broken 3 times now. Two hubs have shattered, another is cracked. I have replaced parts via ebay. At this point I have given up on the pot metal components and just want to make it run. Either in scale form or a limited crawler. The 3 speed is just too cool to let go.


So if I can get scale axles that match the truck in dimension I will be stoked!!! Maybe I should sell off the parts i will not be using?
