i am thinking of getting a custom crawler from rc4wd can you tell me what is a droop set compared to regular spring shock set up i wont be competing with it just running over my friends crawlers thanxs any outhe info would be great too ....it will be the rock ridge crawler

With a regular spring setup the shocks are extended by the springs, on a droop setup the springs are internal (if used at all) and the shocks are compressed normally. The advantage of the droop setup is that the truck sits lower for a lower center of gravity. On the other hand the regular shock setup has more ground clearance.

thank you the shocks are droop shocks which have the springs internal i like that more it looks like real shocks

Real shocks can have springs on them too, check out some real shocks on 1:1 crawlers.
