Default ax10 xtrail chassis

I have a question on the axial ax10 x-trail chassis. How much articulation does it give you and is it able to crawl fairly good? Any answers would be appreciated, i will be starting an ax10 build soon and just need to know if i want to use this chassis or not. thanx

It really depends on the shock setup you use but it gets decent articulation. It's a scale chassis so you have to realize it was never meant to get the same amount of articulation that the stocker chassis does. I'll see if I can find some articulation pics and I'll post them here.

I've been thinking of getting the X trail myself to convert my Axial to a scaler.

www.rccrawler.com has a great section on the AX10. Here is a thread from there about the Xtrail Chassis http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=83108

Here are a few pictures of one of my favorite scale xtrail builds. I realized though that articulation also depends on the size of the wheels/tires you're running and how low you sit the body. These pictures are just to give you a general idea of the articulation a scale truck would get with the xtrail chassis, a low sitting body, and 1.9 tires.

BTW This truck isn't mine. It was built by ScaleManiac of the RCMT forums.
