Default glitching problem

My crawler was working great, then one day it started to act up, glitching like crazy!!! It works fine and then all of a sudden it starts to glitch, then it simply would not move! The steering would not work nor the motor. I picked it up to see what was wrong and it started to work again!!! Go figure!!! Then when I started to pull a hill, the motor started to glitch, making it move forward and backward about 2 inches each way! Picked it up and it quit glitching! I made sure that the crystals were in properly and that the antenna was in firmly and also sprayed some contact cleaner on everything but I still get some glitching every now and then. I then checked to see if my esc and steering servo leads were in properly in the receiver. It still does it every now and then! Anyone have any answers for me?

Thanks, Uncle Sky

what radio system do you have?

that is usually signs of a loose connecton, either the battery to esc wires, or esc to rx wires.

check those wires for nicks, splits and cracks. any loss of wire insolaton, will help allow rf signals to effect your radio signal or electronic gears.

it may also be a radio reciever issue.

are you postive your battery pack is fully charged, and a healthy pack? Radio batties charged and good?

My radio is the TQ3 from Traxxas. Elcheapo!!! $49.00 I didn't have any problems with my other radio when it was installed in the crawler. I guess that u get what u pay for!!![sm=disappointed.gif] I am going to put the other in just to see if it stops the glitching. If it does, the old one gets thrown out![sm=wink_smile.gif]

Yhanks, Uncle Sky
