1.9 wheels question
Hi guys
I'm waiting for my new SCX10 to arrive but in the meantime im looking for what stuff to get for it. I'm particularly interested in replacing the stock wheels with something more scale. I really like these wheels but not sure it they fit axial axles. The first set is landrover 1.9 plastic and the second is OEM Steel 1.9 Stock Beadlock Wheels. Anyone knows if any of these fit direct without mods or what mods do i need to look at. I would preferably use stock tyres.
thanks

No mods... direct bolt-on. Worst case scenario is that you may have to chop off the protruding stubby part of the hex; that's a 5 minute job with a dremel and a cut-off tool. Or just use different hexes that have a flat face.

RE: 1.9 wheels question
cheers i lowered it and painted it today too. the tyres i have did
rub a bit on close inspection. lastnight i grinded some
of the hub and put smaller turnbuckles on. they do fit
but there is some rubbing. heres a new pic.
i left the tyres unglued.the soft compound grips the
wheel pretty well. i added rc plane lead weights to
the wheel between the foam and the rim, works well. these
wheels weigh nothing. i was suppose to get semi military
type green. camo type. the paint come out looking like a
letterbox. oh well never mind.

i really like those tyres monsterbombs but i didnt find anything similar. The ones i found were either without tyres or with a totally different thread. Managed to find also similar rims made of aluminium but are much more expensive than the plastic ones.

RE: 1.9 wheels question
im not sure how accurate it is, and it
doesnt say anywere on the package or tyres
but, there suppose to be tamiya.
and i saw some metal rims too. $100 just for
rims. this whole project has cost me about 260.
i get my desired effect with these, im happy.
