duratrax cliffclimber .
Ok so Ive been into r/c for a very long time , and decided to get a cliff climber ... I got one on a trade from here and it is very nice ... works great . Im new to the crawling scene. My question is this . It is the rtr version with all the electronics , I know On the evx esc you can jump one side and run one battery , as this is what I do with my clod... I run a three cell lipo in it .. This cliff climber runs on two batteries , I know the esc will jump one side as I already tried it .. My question is if I do that can I run the 3 cell lipo in it with out hurting the motors .? Its 11.1 volt 4000 mah battery . I dont know if this esc allows a true 7.2 volt per motor, or is it just combined for 14.4 ?

I didn't notice any stall . It's about as fast or just a tade
bit slower . Not a big change is speed but should get a butt load of run time with
4000 mah

RE: duratrax cliffclimber .
So far so good , this thing is killer on run time. Today I made a lock out for the rear steering and removed the servo... steers great still climbs great ... I ordered some steel drive cups for the diffs and will install them when they get here ... I have posted some pictures of the truck with the rear lock out and how I mounted the 3 cell lipo. I am able to fit it on top of the front servo with not issues so I may try that and see how it goes, but for now Im gonna have fun with it .
