and a hard place. So I have been looking to trade my wheely king http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8989134/tm.htm for an axial, with no luck and last night I had a guy email wanting to trade for a clean revo 3.3. I told myself I would not go back to nitro, but this is tempting. What do you guys think?

Unfortunately, you probably won't make enough on the Revo to cover the cost of an AX10 (a new one anyway). It took me forever to unload a friend's Revo for $200 and then I sold another buddy's Revo with about $400 in upgrades on Ebay for a whopping $180
Really think about what kind of answers your gonna get in a CRAWLER forum when you ask if you should get a crawler or a NITRO

Dude! I love that Wheely King....If you are going to build a scaler, the WK axles are way too big for 1:10 scale. But....If you are looking to buy just the AX10 for a comp style rig, you should consider buying the new DNA Racing WK chassis that turns a WK into a super capable low CG wheeling machine. The new chassis has an innovative motor mount that puts the motor near the bottom of the tranny instead of the top....Check it out first, you might like it.

Well z, you convinced me. Looks like the wk is getting the dna chassis soon. IS it best just to order from the kink you gave me?

DNA sells the kits right from their website, yes....[link=http://stores.homestead.com/hstrial-AStrinko1/-strse-102/Wheely-King-Pro-Comp/Detail.bok]Direct store link[/link]Don over at DNA is a genius!!! Some day I will get that chassis as well because I kept the transmission and spare parts just for that reason. They have 2-3 different options on the motor mount and everything will be included for the change-over. Looked as though the best motor mount and motor combo is for the Puller motors, since this chassis is super thin. Choices, choices!!!
I have been following a different thread on a guy that is sorta copying DNA's chassis, but slightly different. Although not in production, a really nice chassis....[link=http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=177801]Kraqa's WK chassis[/link]
