Default SUBZERO

Got a bonus coming, so I get to spoil myself a bit:

http://www.rc4wdstore.com/2/product_...roducts_id=909

The price tag is really up there for my normal budget, but I'm willing to spend 'free' money to get a quality rig like this. [sm=thumbs_up.gif] Two weeks until I can order and up to two more weeks for build and delivery so I'm looking at a month. [&o]

Don't suppose anyone else around here has one?!?! [sm=confused.gif]

If I came into some disposable cash, that would be one of my first choices! I love it...

Damn that is one sweet rig been eyeing it for about a month now....caught up between that and an SCX10 but isn't the Subzero pretty much pre-built?

What comes with the kit exactly I see that there are a bunch of upgrades listed but not sure if the stock photos are with the upgrades included...

It comes pre-built with everything other than electronics (I gather). I'll need to install a steering servo, motor, ESC, BEC if necessary, my battery and current transmitter/receiver. Since I am going to be spending quite a bit on the truck itself, I will install a Novak Goat brushless system, 3S2P LiPo battery and being that it basically steel and is going to be heavy, I need to figure out which servo will be best. [sm=50_50.gif] I figure on it costing a little over a grand, total, but that is really not that expensive considering that I have surely put that much money in my AX10 over the last 8 or 9 months. This is just all at one time.

My only issue is that I don't know anything more than what is shown in the pictures. Since there is not a picture of one of these completed on the web and no videos on YouTube, I don't know where the battery should mount, where the electronics are supposed to go or if I have to make my own mods for that stuff. I've no idea. [] I mean, I'm sure I can figure something out when it arrives, but I would like to know that those things were planned out in the design stage and that it will be obvious.

If I'm going to bite the bullet and order this truck I have to know exactly what I need and get everything at once before the money is pittled away, but so far no response to my questions from RC4WD. [&o]

......hope their e-mail reply didn't go into my spam folder and get deleted. [sm=71_71.gif]

That is an awesome looking rig. WOW! I would still like to attempt my own weld job to see how it comes out. However, just adding up the parts not counting the interior, links and such you would already be up to $548.93. so $599 does not sound too bad eh?
I hope to see some cool videos from RC4WD showing her in action.
