Default My RS10 build, half done.

Heres my Redcat RS10 since Ive had a few ask about it. So far mods consist of true 4 linked, STRC 30* bent lowers, lowered reciever/ESC tray, CC BEC, custom delrin skid, internal shock spring (sprung setup) and relocated shocks, Axial wheels with Comp Claws, custom carbon fiber 4 link mounts (on axles), locked out rear steerand deans connectors on all connections. As of right now it crawls extremely well but Im going to make a could more tweaks and see if it can get better. Im also ordering a FLMSPV2 chassis next week so Ill have more updates coming. The Redcats have a ton of potential and anyone that ever said there arent any parts for them obviously didnt know what they were talking about!!! Heres some pics!!

Its an addiction, Im ordering a FLM SPV2 chassis tomorrow. I just ordered a tuber chassis for my Creeper. Ill be running the RS10 in the 2.2 comp class with a punk dig and the creeper in the 2.2 sportsman class.

I like the grappler of crowd pleasure crawler bodies. I have the C10 body on there just for practicing. I have a grappler being painted now.

Just an update. I just ordered DNA Thrashers, HB Rovers, Alum. steering knuckles and 3/8 delrin to make custom upper links. I decided to hold off on the chassis since I have a friend with a waterjet so we will be desiging a RS10 comp specific chassis that works. Stay tuned for more pics and updates.

badass how do you like the bent axials thinking of upgrading was looking at the killercrawler short links they would stretch it out alittle also keep burning up rear motor so I am looking at the bully moa axial steel gears would be good and 540 motors as well then I think the rs10 would be an excellant crawler

too much plastic (axials) had to solder pinion gear to rear motor because I kept stripping the crub screw works excellent

Pretty sure the bully gears won't work. Unless they are the exact same size and configuration, which I'm pretty sure they're not. Then again, I don't have a set of bully gears to compare to the RS10 gears. I also don't recommend going for a 540 motor swap on the plastic gears...you'll destroy them for sure. Redcat is currently working on metal gears...My advice would be to either swap in a decent 380 motor, or wait for metal gears and do a 540 swap.
