DEZ, do longer rear upper links affect performance? I rescently switched to 2ws and have the option to lengthen the upper links in the rear.

dezfan 09-18-2006 09:21 PM

RE: Rock Crawling Gallery Thread

I have found that it's better the have your links be longer in the rear than the front to gain a better weight bias.

Also you want your upper and lower links to be as close as possible to the same length.

is 2ws better than 4ws ive noticed most are 2ws

dezfan 09-19-2006 10:02 PM

RE: Rock Crawling Gallery Thread

For the Super class, 4WS is the norm.

In the 2.2 class, 4WS is not allowed, only 2WS.

But, there is always the DIG feature![>:]

Great looking scale Bronco is that an SW2 chasis?

Love the roof rack. Id does look like you need to trim the fenders a touch.

Hi, This is my clod based super, with a custom chassis and custom links. I intend to get some Axiom 65t lathes, a TQ3 radio, stronger servos and some Imex all-t's.

I'm on RCC too under the crappy name of "4link4eva".

Cheers [8D]

here's mine while it was still stock.. now the tires have been cut, inboarded the shocks rear, all new belts, painted the roll cage nutmeg, and put renegade stipes on it!!! aslo took off the side steps/rock runners, painted the seats black, installed off road lights on the bumper and head and tail led lights! and on the 1/18 scale one i just painted the rollcage, front bumper, and side steps black.
dont have any pics yet of the new and inproved crawler but as soon as i get some i'll post!!
haven't had much time to take any pics b/c i just recently got a 1/1 jeep!! 1985 jeep renegade!!! its awsome!!
