Jim, I’ve recently resurrected my project Yacht America. It is a 2 masted schooner (44 inches LOA). I purchased a Futaba Attack-SR radio, (2 channel) which came with 2 Futaba S3003 servos. One of these servos I’m using for controlling the rudder. In addition I purchased a Hitec sail winch HS-725BB. The sail winch is rated to handle 1000 square inches of sail, which is almost twice as much as I need. I’m using the sail winch to control the 3 sails on the boat. I could have used smaller servos to control each of the sails individually but this is my fist model that I’m sailing so I didn’t want to build something that would be too difficult to sail. I believe this arrangement should serve your needs. Hope this helps. C. Clancy

The Futaba S3802 is the servo they recommend for "medium size" sailboats. This servo has, I believe, 122 oz, which is a lot more than standard. It would probably do the job.
