well a few ideas:
1. make your own with aluminium...lets hope you know how to bend alu or glue some alu on it
2. just glue some carbon tube on it
3. make a whole new rig...the $$$ way

I'd make my own out of some carbon tube from the kite shop..epoxy...and should be ok..check teh 36/600...the top of the mast @ Walrus, Orko as...you should get the idea

can you take a piece of light gauge sheet AL fold it over (forming a u shape) and epoxy it to the first version to extend it into the second?
