Just about a perfect show this year. The weather today was fantastic, the turn out was spectacular, and there were very few accidents. About the only bad thing was the wait time to fly due to the extreme number of pilots registered. A good problem to have! Here is a selection of static pictures from today's show.

Excellent event, as usual, even though one of the 'accidents' cost me a P-51 (due to a failed elevator clevis)...
BTW, I think the delays were more due to the major bottleneck created by the new staging system. They simply weren't very efficient at getting planes started and in the air after one landed. Hopefully they'll get it sorted for the Spring event.
Nonetheless, great weather, great models, and great flying. [8D]
Here's a couple of pics, I'll try to post more later...

Very nice pictures. Looks like they had a good turnout. I didn't make it down . Did Ken get to fly his Claude? He was having some problems with his motor. Rich

Hi Rich, sorry you couldn't make it. Bob Frey took the Claude for a spin and it looked great. Bob commented to me later that he thought it flew quite well. I think "UncleJoe" has some in-flight shots of the airplane on his thread in the warbirds forum.

I had my Midwest Texan (Harvard actually) seen below. I may see you in Chino in November if you're planning to attend.

So, that was yours! Very Nice. The Royal thread has my P-38 story[&o]. It happend Sunday. It died in a blaze of glory. It's soul will live forever in Arizona! [sm=cry_smile.gif]
Rare Bear is not good on the ground, and I never got the wind it needs. Chino has good afternoon wind. Maybe I will fly it there again.

I took video of the noontime line up. Loaded it Sunday night. It took forever to load and clear!
