Turns out the plans were not the Vega.
I have plans for Lindbergh's Lockheed Sirus.
Plans are two sheets, full size. 102" in span or 1/5 scale at 20%.
Wedell Hostetler plans.
Anyone interested?

Took me a while, but I found my plans for a 61 inch Vega 5C (the Winnie Mae) by M. B. Groves. They appear to be a step or two above sport scale there seems to be a fair amount of detail. The wings are foam. Let me know if this interests you.

Walt,
Thank You, I am interested. Maybe I can enlarge them. Please e-mail me at [email protected]
I forget to check the RCU every day and I do not want to miss your e-mail.

Cleveland Model and Supply has plans that can be used. They are enlargements from rubber designs and reasonably accurate in outline. You would have to 'engineer' wood sizes for your needs.

I am considering building the same plane. I found some excellent copies of original factory drawings at plans.aerofred.com. These are free downloads, and contain enough detail for the most discriminating modeler. I hope this helps. Good luck!
