There IS a problem on RC Universe. Every time I first load the site, the computer goes nuts. This doesn't happen on any other site.
PLEASE fix the issue!!!! You (and us) have a problem.

I run an Enterprise version of anti-virus software as well as a 3rd party program that I use to scan my computer weekly and neither report this. What software are you using?

Still a problem, as of five minutes ago (3:35pm PT).
I am running Firefox and Eset NOD 32. Some other combinations may be able to work through this (or are just not reporting it).
I am getting sick of this. It happens almost every time I log in and the site itself is causing the problem according to the antivirus report. Eset is one of the best antivirus programs so I trust it. Firefox is a pain in the a##, on the other hand.

Allan. Early this AM I was having trouble with my computer locking up after the third or fourth keystroke when I was on RCU, no problems elsewhere. Got home this eve and went looking at the posts from subscriptions from the day and as soon as I hit RCU the computer locked up. The only way I was able to get away was to unplug the CPU. Thied two or three times more and it locks up by the second keystroke. Please dont ask me what I'm running as I haven't a clue. It's an old DELL inspiron 3600 or something like that and it runs whatever came in it. No problems till today but now I cant even reboot and open AOL. Computer seems to be thouroughly afu.
I'm on another computer at this time and am not sure I'll be back.

I don't get any warnings from this site. I also use Malwarebytes, and Symantec Endpoint Protection. I run scans weekly and after seeing this post I ran then daily for several days in a row and don't get anything. Perhaps I have my browser (FireFox) set so securely that I block the problem.
Hope they get it figured out soon tho.

Well I dont know what to say, this AM I booted up, logged on to AOL, logged on to RCU to see what it would do and it's all back to normal. I was ready to toss my cpu last night but now...?

It seems to come only from one of the servers.
Sometimes, when I log in, my firewall detects and blocks one thread after the other.
Other times, like now, nothing shows up.

I am having the exact same problem. The site works fine, then the next time it is totally fried.
I AM NOT RETURNING TO THIS SITE FOR AT LEAST A WEEK AND RECOMMEND THAT EVERYBODY DO THE SAME. The problem is very sophisticated and it is simply not worth the risk. God only knows what it is trying to install on your machine! (to emerge later when you least expect it).
RCU, PLEASE DEAL WITH THIS. It has gone on too long already and there is NO EXCUSE any more. If you can't control the site, you should temporarily close it down!

I continue to experience problems but multiple computers. McAfee continues to block the trojan but IE shuts down after a number of attempts. It did it just trying to access this thread.
