Anyone have any color or black and white views of Hazel Sig's clipped wing cub? I have a scale meet I'd like to enter with a 1/4 scale cub I have and need some additional pictures. So far I only have one color of the front half of the plane. I've tried Sig already and they don't have anything. Thanks for any assistance you may have. Jim

I had the Sig Cub 1/4 scale plane and kit about 15 years ago. I am fuzzy on this but didn't Sig include an address to get more documentation in the Cub kit? I am 90% sure I have seen color photos of her Cub so you should be able to get it done.

I have the latex Hazel Sig pilot figure. Started painting it to use in a 1/4 scale Stearman, but never finished.
Interesting piece of work, great face - not like the typical plastic heads. Has a helmet liner, helmet, some other stuff for detail.
Interested? PM me.

Jimmy, to enter competition you don't need color pictures at all. A description of the plane, including a reference to the color, is what is needed. If her plane was painted Bahama blue and Jeauno white, for example, you may provide randolph or other color chips that match as your documentaion. Color photos can cause problems with documentation. It's not unusual for photographs to render the color different looking depending on the view, camera angle etc. Better to have one color photograph and the rest in black in white. Hope this helps BobH.

Thanks for all your replies. I haven't ordered them yet but Bob does have pictures of her plane which I will probably buy. This is a sig cub that my dad started many years ago and I finished and flew last year after about 15 years of sitting around. I added more scale detail last fall and entered my first scale event and finished second overall. I was penalized because I only had one view of the plane. There are two scale meets coming up(two weeks apart) and I thought I would enter both and see if I could take top honors this year. Thanks again for your help. Jim

Sig was saleing the photos but has stoped. My last catolog had them listed for under $20.00. I'm would like to have a set of them too. Are the photos that Bob has the one that Sig was offering?
