My goal is to make my 1/5 Cub look like its waiting for you to climb in and shoot some touch & goes
Anybody know where I might find a 1/5 or 1/4 scale headset? Thanks!

I have the 1/5 Scale Cub from SIG with the robart gear and wheels and a specially built firewall to fit an inverted old blue/white box Saito .80. I was able to add a 90 degree adapter from a Saito twin to get the stock muffler to come out the bottom of the cowling and run along side the belly out of sight. The down side was it moved the tank farther back into the cockpit. I think next time I'll use multiple tanks conected in series to keep them out of sight. I did this on a Top Flite 182 to get the tank facing forward instead of sideways. I hate Cub Yellow so mine is Bright Yellow. I'm planning on adding 1940s CAP insignia and cockpit details after I make a few shackdown flights.

It's the Sig 25th Anniversary kit. I also wanted something other than Cub Yellow, so I am doing a Cream & Black motif... with additional accent colors to be added. Wing struts are hand-fabbed from aluminum airfoil and brass tubing, yes the gear is Robart.
Koverall and dope, with Nelson Hobby paint brushed on with a foam brush.
Thrust will be provided courtesy of a Saito 90-TS opposed twin. Just tonight, I fabricated the rough beginnings of the air scoops for the engine out of thin Alclad aluminum sheet; they should look really nice when riveted to the cowl, and should accentuate the engine nicely.
Here's a couple'a pics. FlyerInOKC, you post some too!

Lots of work left to be done. Finishing the cowl, painting the numbers, detailing the landing gear, cockpit, you name it.

I think the lightning bolt turned out real crisp. Frog Tape is great stuff! Love that Saito twin, can't wait to maiden this bird.
