Default Where to get this spring?

Does anyone know a source for the pictured spring. Please note design. ideally, very small, like an inch or inch and a half.

Splais.. if you look carefully you see its a spring with two keepers. So find a small spring, like in a ball point pen and add the keepers. These can be made from wire of a similar size to the spring.

This entire project should take.. 30 minutes or less.

Thanks much, hadn't noticed that, easy to do with a little piano wire.

Very helpful idea BobH! My son needs to replace one spring that broke on the tail gear of a 50cc plane. Now he can just make a matching pair of new ones with your idea. I'll be sure to remember it for my own use in the future...thanks! Jon
