Default First scale kit ?

I have built a couple of kits and now I wish to try scale. What would be a good first time scale kit in a 60 size ?

What do you like? Military? Biplanes? WW2, So many choices. If you like WW1, look into the 1/6th scale Balsa USA kits.

What kind of flying have you done? Are you looking for semi-scale or something more serious? Is that 60-size in 2 or 4 stroke? For a 50-60 class 4-stroke you're talking about a light model with perhaps a 60" wingspan. A Sig Cub kit would probably be a good match. A 50-class 4-stroke would also fly the 1/6 scale BUSA WWI models.
