Default aeronca champ

well I finally finished the 1/4 scale champ and it flew fantastic, My dad had one of these when I was a kid, This is modeled after the 7ac. Flew with a os 120 four stroke, it is a pilot one arf, it had some issue's during assembly but all in all it flies great. That's my granddaughter setting beside it, My dad is 88 and loves it, he just wish's it was a little bigger

Nice model always loved my Aeronca.

Mine was an old Nosen 1/4 scale kit with an even older Quadra 35 for power. I like to fly it slow and fly it scale. I have documentation somewhere of a show where the pilot was doing loops and rolls with one. 65 horse hand prop no electrics. The one I copied is about 4 hours from me and I not only went to take photos of it but the pilot took me up in it. These guys use they're planes like cars and fly to a local restaurant for a meal or coffee. I was lucky to be introduced to some of them one one of my visits. I competed with it in scale contests and did fairly well.
