I seldom post comments but I just needed to add a positive comment about Arizona Models.
I contacted Jaime Johnson with an order for a 1/3 scale Newport 24/27 before he could execute the order I sent an e-mail cancelling the order. I received confirmation of the cancellation but there would be a delay of the refund. The reason given because some parts were out sourced and perhaps I would have to pay a re stocking fee. [part of their terms of buisness] The delay seemed longer than I thought proper, as such I did search of RCUniverse finding a whole litany of negative postings from failure to provide kits/parts to none re funds, this left me with concern which later proved unfounded.
I did make reference to Jaime for an ammount of shipping charges not being refunded, as no answer was forth coming I wrote that amount off. Today I received an apologetic e-mail stating that the amount in question had been overlooked and would be refunded today, the reason given for it being late was Jamie had been in hospital with heart problem.
In this context should a potential sale be in jeopardy because of any negative comments I would suggest consideration be given to my positive comments.
