Default A1 Skyraider

I've always wanted to build a big A1. Does anyone know of a kit or a set of plans available that look decent?

Cheers,
Kael.

Globel Hobbies had a kit out in the 60 size version, and then turned it into an ARF version. You might check through RC Magazine to see if they still sell the rolled planes. Zeroli has a 1/4 scale version I think also.

Kaeldc,
Try www.fourpi.com. I have one of these. It is an ARC (almost ready to cover). It is very well made. If you have problems with the website it has an 80" wingspan and should come out at about 10 to 12 pounds. A 1.5 c.i. 4 stroke or a 20 to 25 cc gas engine is what is recommended. The wing is built for fixed gear, however the instructions show how to modify it for retracts.
