Default Which Plane?

Looking for my next plane...wanting an ARF and want to use an O.S. 0.91 Surpass II Four Stroke. Narrowed it down a little....here are my choices at this point:

1. Sportsman Aviation Waco 60 ARF

2. Super Kraft Extra 300s/60 ARF

3. Vmar CAP 232 ARF 60

4. World Models Super Chipmunk ARF

5. Great Planes Spacewalker ARF

Of these, what can you all recommend. I like them all....have heard good things about all of them. Just have to make up my mind. Maybe this forum can sway my decision.

Thanks!

Rich:

1. Sportsman Aviation Waco 60 ARF
- Nice plane, if it's as good as the little one it's an excellent choice.

2. Super Kraft Extra 300s/60 ARF
- Don't know this one.

3. Vmar CAP 232 ARF 60
- I've seen too many Vmar planes to even begin to consider one.

4. World Models Super Chipmunk ARF
- Limited performance, but flies nicely.

5. Great Planes Spacewalker ARF
- nice plane, but not if you want an aerobat. It will flip around, but it's not meant to do so.

Yeah, I had wanted a good biplane for a while. I was originally thinking of the Midwest Super Stearman Kit, but I'd rather have an ARF right now because I don't have the time to build a kit. I saw pics on another thread of one of these, but the only problem I had with it was that the cylinder head stuck out of the cowl (I'd rather conceal it).

2. Super Kraft Extra 300s/60 ARF
- Don't know this one.
This one was an ARF aerobat, and I love to do aerobatics, but I've seen so many Extras, etc that I'm kind of bored with them.

Yeah, I also have seen too many CAPs to mention....wanted something a little "different".

4. World Models Super Chipmunk ARF

What do you mean by "limited performance"? If you mean it won't hover, I don't care about that. I'm more into scale aerobatics, and in this case, the kind of stuff Art Scholl would have done with it. I really like the Goldberg Kit, but again, it's a KIT and I just don't have the time for it now.

5. Great Planes Spacewalker ARF

The one thing that grabbed me about this one was the size for the money. It's almost 80", so it would be a nice "big" plane to have. Also, it seems as though it would be just a fun, all around Sunday flyer. I can do aerobatics with it, and it will do basically everything that I like to do. I heard that it loves to fly inverted, which is cool.

It's a tough choice....If the fixed gear version of the Chipmunk isn't any better (ie the look and strength of the main gear) than the retract version, then it's between the Spacewalker and the Waco at the moment. Of course, I'll probably change my mind 100 times up to the time I buy it.

Thanks!
