Hi Fredde,
I like the Unitracts quite a lot. In fact I like them so much that I'm phasing out my other retracts and replacing them with Unitracts units (4 of them so far). Now don't get me wrong - they are not the best retracts out there but they are sturdy and reasonable priced (at least here in Europe). I also like the Schraeder (sp?) filling valve - exactly what is used on car tires.
I see that we are from the same part of Sweden. You might have seen my Mick Reeves Spitfire at the Helsingborg meeting. I changed my retracts in that plane 2 years ago. You might remember that I had a habit of belly landing at least once every meeting - it drove me nuts! And finally, in case of a bad landing the mounting breaks before the gear.
Happy landings,
Anders

I haven’t seen your Spitfire yet. I were to busy flying full scale gliders at Sovde airport.
I will use Unitracts for my Flair FW 190. I will also select a Laser 150 for power.
