Default Telemaster

I did a bunch of searching on the Telemaster some time ago but never saw any mention of a man-carrying prototype.

We're told that the "model" was originally used for carrying cables across valleys for use in stringing power lines in Europe, but that was apparently a plane in the same size range that we still use for recreational R/C flying.

You can still get a Senior Telemaster kit from hobby lobby (www.hobby-lobby.com) for about $110 -- I was thinking that was the big big Telemaster, but it's not, it's the 8' version. I'm not too sure if they do sell the plans for the 12' job (or maybe if they would if asked). I did have a buddy who had one and insists that it never flew like the smaller Telemasters (he also has had a few of the .40 sized version), but I would think that at the right weight and power it ougth to be a good plane. I don't really know whether there were serious changes made in the 12' plane or not.
