I just opened a kit that has been in storage for at least 15 years. The Mfgr. is no longer making this kit (or any of this size). It is a Sterling Models Stinson Reliant,Kit # FS-33. Everything is in excellent condition except that 1 sheet of parts is missing,ie,FS33-3. I think these are balsa fuse.parts, and it could be a "2 REQ".
What I need is the sheet(s) that are gone or more likely templates to make my own,or any good ideas to get thru this prob. The plane is a .40 size and should build into a great model.
I 'd appreciate any help.

Would suggest you post elsewhere in RCU also. Try the vintage section also, as this model dates to the 50's.
What you really need is just a Xerox of the parts sheet either mailed to you or scanned and sent via E:mail attachment. I have other Sterling kits, but not this one.

Hi Wm.-CooBay Lumber, Thanks for reply. I think that I've resolved my prob. The sheet No. in Quest.(FS 33-3) ,apparently is not needed. I went over,in great detail, all the instr. with a helper(wife) and found all the parts. They're really scattered around on the die-cut sheets and in ref. to plans instr.,very diff.from"modern" plans with photos etc. It takes me back to Comet and Scientific and Megow etc.,etc. That was really modeling. An Engr'g. degree always helped. Then we set fire to them off the back porch. What fun!
Now another quest. Since you are "conversant" with Sterling, can I reley on the CG as shown? A letter in Aug.'02 M.A.N.,page 11,talks about a Sterling Waco bipe Mod E with a CG found to be off by 1.25 inches. Is this all relative to old control-line specs.? The shape of the Reliant wing looks like it would be diff. to determine by graphical methods. Any ideas?
Thanks again for your help, and I'll check into the Old-timers Category. Stoney [email protected]
