Buy Robart Large RoboStruts. You can get them un-trimmed so they are long. Buy the fork end version. Cut them to length. Run them into maple blocks on each side of the wing. You can bore the perfect size hole with a 5/8" Fostner bit. My son has done this and has been flying the Stuka for about 4 years with no problems.

I have seen the name Bob Shattelroe mentioned as a source for the prebent gear for this plane. How and where to get ahold of him I do not know. I saw this in some older posts here. maybe a search can dig it up. I may be wrong but I believe he may have just moved to Florida? Good luck with the Stuka.

Leo,

Glad to hear the Stuka is still flying. Will you attend the Joe Nall this year?

Pete,

Try getting a hold of Mace Gill at THe AeroPlane Works. I have an older Stuka kit cut by him, and it included the landing gear.
