Aeronca Chief

I just love the Aeronca Chief. The only kit I know of is the old Comet kits. Their no longer in production but they are around. I think the wing span was around 50". I've been searching for a good plan or a decent 3 view for years but haven't found one yet. Getting the fuselage cross section right will be a real bear.
Do a Google search for Cleveland Model & Supply Co. they have a 30" Chief. I might have to buy that one myself and see if it is any good.

Aeronca Cheif.. I have started to build a 1/4 scale Cheif.. Back in the 80's a place in California had a kit. They were from Unionville.
There used to be a ad in Model Avaition.. Some one from Canada flew a 1/4 scale Cheif in Scale Nats at Muncie 10 years back.
I started building mind from production plans from Aeronca Cheif . I also had a Cheif apart in my garage and made a set of formers 1/4 scale. To me that did help. Someday a may be able to get back on that project.
