Default Beechcraft Stagger wing

I am currently in the process of aquiring parts to build a royal beechcraft stagger wing. His is my problem the plane has a 1" wing cord and I want to put in pnumatic retracts. I can not find any to fit. I contacted robart and they do not have any. I have heard that slimline might make a set but I can not find them. Thanks to all in advance for your help.

Default RE: Beechcraft Stagger wing

Rhom used to make a set called FAI that were 15/16" thick. The cylinder actually went the opposite direction from the strut when retracted. Another option is to use Bob Violett retracts. His earlier retracts were very thin and you could place the cylinder in a convient spot and drive the retract with a pushrod. That is probably the best option for your scenario, IMO.
