In post number 10, Deljon's cropping solution is excellent. It show to good effect the "Rule Of Thirds" of composition. The "rule" basically is that if would divide the viewfinder into thirds (see graphic below), it is most effective to place the subject or point of interest near one of the points where the lines cross. Similarly, horizon lines look better if plane (not airplane here) is near the top or bottom third. Notice that the Tripe in near the lower right point flying "into" most of the image. A little bit of cropping can go a long way towards making a "snap-shot" into a "photograph". It's pretty tough to get "perfect" composition when shooting moving targets like airplanes. If you're not able to do it yourself (with Photoshop or other photo editing programs) many photo labs can crop the image for you. I can't speak for the big box guys or drug stores, but a "real lab" should be able to.
