If you have drawings, you could cut them easily out of foam - unless you're planning on dropping them....
Great looking 262 by the way! Did you scratch build or kit? Can you give some specs on that bird? - size, engines, other ordinance?
Thanks,
Craig

I'm not sure of the scale, but they do have a "German" bomb.
Great looking 262!

Thanks Dave, Frank has 1/5 scale stuff, may go with it though.
Craig and the snake,
The jet is from an Airworld Kit, it is fully molded and very complete out of the box. This is the elec version and will be powered by two hacker B50-16L motors with jeti / hacker esc. Schubi fans and 2x 18cell 3000hv packs. All up weight is 16.5lbs. Off the shelf Robart gear and struts. Nothing special on the paint job, its plasticote automotive paint from spray cans, the markings came from aeroloft. This particular scheme is from Major Walter Nowotny, a fighter bomber unit that carried two 550kg bombs under the nose. I was just planning on using the bombs for static shots.
Thanks,
Vin...

Hi Vincent, Nowotny did´nt carry bombs under the nose of "Yellow 8", he was a fighter pilot not a bomber. I could see a shot of some Commando Nowotny´s jets carrying two dropable fuel tanks. Take this in mind if you are planning to enter in a scale contest, because the shape are very different. Congratulations you have a great plane, is my favorite. I am scratch building one in 1/7 scale.

Javier,
Yes you are correct. I have a desk top 1/48th scale ME-262 with this same color scheme and it has two bombs attached. No scale contests for me but I did install the bombs anyway. Kommando Schenk was the group that carried bombs. I do have another ME-262 in the works and it will be accurate scale, Gelb 3. I had the Experten decals blown up to 1/6th scale, this jet has the checkerboard on the tail.
If you go here on the e-zone, there is a thread where I posted the pics of the 262 with bombs.

Vincent,
It could be hard or easy to convert the AW Me262 in a ME262-u1 double seater night fighter version?
And would you let me know how you lost the first ME262?
Thanks

Javier,
Not sure how to convert the 262 to a night fighter, too much work for me!! My first AW ME-262 went in because I had bad advise on what motors and fans to use, I tried to load her up with more batteries and got too heavy. This new one has the latest and greatest equipment and it flys wonderfull.
