Have you seen Replicraft (Jim Kiger) plans for the SPAD XIII?
Just got a set from Arizona Models of same, and they are pathetic!
Had hoped for a set of plans of Proctor standard since the price was rather hefty, and all we got was something to build a kinda-scale model, the controls to rudder and elevator are like on a trainer.
Thankfully, we didn't order the kits!!!
So we decided to go for a Replicraft set of plans, hoping they are the type that you build museum scale from, i.e. a model where everything, except motor and pilot (plus servos), are like the full size, just smaller. The plans are not cheap, but consists of 12 sheets, all in 1:5 scale, seemingly with all the details.
Wanna have a look at the site? Go here: [link]http://www.replicraft.us.fm/[/link]
So if you know anything about the Replicraft plans, please tell!
BTW: It's not the royal 'we', it's my mate Mark and I (not Kenny this time).

Hi Shonny,
You will not be disappointed with Replicraft plans!
I have his Pup plans and they are fantastic, just like having the original engineering drawings from the factory with all the details down to the smallest metal fittings.
I was very happy with their plans.

Thanks Reg,
That's what I wanted to hear.
I guess it willl then only be a matter of time before we have to order the rest of Jim's plans as well!
Cheers,
shonny

Hi Shonny,
Here is another qualifier for those plans.
Check out this site for a full size Camel built from Replicraft plans. Lots of building photos.
http://www.rrinaldi.com/Sopwith/
Also Magnus in Sweden started with Mick Reeves Pup plans and gravitated to Replicraft plans for his 1/4 scale model. 7sep-4nov link Check his site out also.

Thanks again Reg,
The Swedish link is of particular interest, and of course easy to read.
Yes, I am thoroughly convinced now.
Cheers,
Jonn
