Default Scratch Build Panic

Hi There,
This is my first post in r/c universe.
I am currently scratch building a 1/5th (60 size)scale Mk.IX off the Brian Taylor Plans. Has thing stand now the fuselage, horizontal stabilizer and vertical stabilizer are finished and just need to be sanded down (Yucky[&o])

I have started cutting the ribs for the wings. Now comes the tricky part, nowhere in the plans does it mention how to go about installing retracts. So what I have done is replaced the ribs that will be cut to accomodate the retract and wheel with 3mm ply wood. I am currently building a box type gear bay in the wing itself......I am working off of pictures of spitfires as well as a book call Spitfire by Richard A.Franks.

I am not sure what retracts to buy.

TTall,
1/5 scale or 60 size, not sure what you mean. Is this the 83" span?
Shindin makes a great scale set of retracts for this kit, check my webpage for some Spitfire links.
