Yes!! I saw some images of the Ascender awhile back, and was ready to build another "something different". I finally found out the name of it today, and have been searching the net for images and 3 views. I am going to kit-bash a Sig Kadet Senior for a stand-way-off-scale version. Stand back about 30 feet and squint, and you'll recognize the Ascender when it's done!!! My wing chord is too wide for the span, but it will be OK. I have a few images and views off the net, and have figured out how I'm gonna do it. The only questions I have are: 1, would I be correct in assuming the CG is slightly forward of the main landing gear? And, 2, I am using flat bottom airfoils on both wing and canard. Is the canard fully flying? And if so, should I set it up with as much throw as I can get and dial out what I don't need?
Let me know what you think.. I have scratch built from my own plans before, but no experience with canards. Your plans wingspan is pretty close to my finished wing of around 80 inches. What is the span and chord of your canard?
Do you know of any websites with more pics / or 3 views?
Thanks in advance.

sorry but the Ascender is on the back burner. trying to finish up the 61", 1921 Besson H-6 triplane Seaplane, making it a land conversion also., detachable landing gear. in fact right now the big Russian K-7, 7 motored bomber will take its place, after the 18 foot Flying Qaker is in the air. would you be interested in copying my plans of the 81" Ascender? could roll them up and send them to you. think about it. dick
