Default Your ideas please

I am an experienced R/C modeler that has built many kits over the past 20 years. I am looking for a scale project that will fit my OS 160FX. I would prefer fixed tricycle gear. Any ideas?

Thanks

Are you looking for a kit or an ARF or whatever you can find?

I know of someone who is releasing a 1/5-scale Grumman AA-5X model (Cheetah/Tiger). I think it has a wingspan of at least 80".

It is built-up with a fiberglass cowl and ABS canopy. I'm not too sure about the wheel pants, though. Here's his web URL:

Have you considered having a kit cut ?

If you want something "unusual" check out the plans at Cleveland Model & Supply Co.
http://www.clevelandairline.com/

And if all else fails, contact Frank J. Marcie Jr. [email protected] You provide a 3 view and he will draw you up a set of plans in CAD. The cost is ABOUT $15 per foot of model wingspan. I recently had a set of plans done by Frank for a Transavia PL-12 Airtruk and was very pleased with the total cost and the end results.
