Hi Guys and Gals,
I have a question about the logo on a 1937 Stinson Reliant the the CAA. NC 84 to NC 89. I have did some searching and so far have not found it.
I do have the one dated 1927 and it's close but must have been changed.
I am building the Top Flight 100"Stinson and wanted to do it as NC 86 as i did own it once.
Thanks,
Jim

I done same thing on a Christen Eagle and found that the current owner had changed the CAA number. May be that the early numbers were not logged only the current. Check out [link=http://www.aerovintage.com/faareg2.htm]http://www.aerovintage.com/faareg2.htm[/link]
NC86 ~ N4611N, NC87 ~ NC87E, NC88 ~ NC88H, NC89 ~ NC89H
Cheers.

Don't know if this helps, but here are a couple of CAA logos on the front and first page of an old CAA Flight Instructor's Manual.
I remember the orange and black Stinsons of the days gone by.

Feihu,
Thanks for looking and showing what you have found.
I have a 1927 CAA logo but it looks different then the one 10 years later.
Inclosed is a picture of the Stinsons of 1937.
Thanks,
Jim

The Ghost,
I did get it to work.. I had the info it gave me and can use it on other planes..
I just found that the Alaaska Aviation Heritage Museum has a 1937Fairchild 24 that was a CAA aircraft and it has a logo. Trying to get a better picture.
I should have stopped by there last year when I spend some time in that area.
Maybe I will hear something from that BIG state North and West of here.
Jim
