These kinds of warbirds are totally acceptable. I'm trying to keep out the WW2 run of the mill stuff out. Something special like this is absolutely great! Thanks for your input. Ron

RE: Let's show our Scale Planes off
This was my first attempt at building a semi-scale plane. I'm from Wyoming, lots of forests, lots of forest fires some years. This is an AirTractor 802F SEAT (Single Engine Air Tanker). I call it the 'Fire Boss'. It started out as a Sig Four Star 120, has a Saito 150 with a Graupner 15x8 pulling it around. The slurry compartments hold right at 2 cups of slurry (baby powder or flour). Looks pretty cool low and slow with the flaps out and dropping a load. The first picture is the full scale (of course) ).

Ikon Monocoupe 90AL With G-38. Sig Coverall and graphics from the Parks Air College rubber model that SIG did years back. Full interior with working door latches and is a great flyer.
Check the story on my blog page for the story of how I got sucked into model aircraft.

Flair quarter scale DH 82 Tiger Moth. Powered by Laser 1.50 4-stroke. Weight about 18 lbs. Flight shot taken by another club member at a scale fly-in. Still needs final markings for the G-ANFM color scheme, as in full scale picture.

Just where are those mountains located in Miami?
I lived at 20581 NE 1st ct for 8 years and I never could find hills like that...not even the sand dunes!!

RE: Let's show our Scale Planes off
I'm replying to myself here because I have seen a lot of warbirds that don't seem to qualify for other threads because of control horns showing and no pilots and stuff like that.
I'm gonna modify my restrictions and allow warbirds too. There are a lot of good looking planes out there that should be shown off. The one that triggered me to do this was a B-25 in another thread. That is good stuff.
Post your SCALE planes.
NO PROFILE planes please.
NO ARF's please.
WARBIRDS ARE NOW ACCEPTABLE
If possible, show a photo of the plane you are duplicating as well as your model.
If possible, tell who created the plans or kit, and who the kit cutter is that you chose (if you went that route) All size aircraft acceptable as long as they are scale.
The photos of the plane can be taken while the model is in your shop, at the field, on top of the car, in the living room, in the bath tub, the pool, or wherever.

RE: Let's show our Scale Planes off
Since warbirds are now acceptable, here is a picture of my old Yellow Aircraft P-47 taken last saturday at a Ft Worth Texas warbird fly in this last Saturday. It is finished as Capt. Howard Hively's "The Deacon".
With a little imagination this could have been 63 years ago as they cruised the English channel looking for an enemy ship to beat up.
