Wow that is nice! The engine sounded as good as the music. And I liked how the music was timed to the touch down on the landing. Thanks for sharing that with us.

Thanks. Watching that thing come to life and sit there with that GEORGEOUS sounding idle was cool. That plane is incredible. FLAWLESS covering and paint and detail. The aluminum jeweled turtledeck is unreal. I hope Shane (owner) sees this. I dont think he's seen the video yet.
Believe it or not....It was a dead-stick landing. The engine quit. It was found later that the fuel pump tube wasnt hooked up...Im surprised it even ran. Tony Stillman did a real good job of bringing it in unpowered.

John, you guys need to re-do those videos with the radial and remove the music from them. Or at minimum, make the music no more than 20% of the background. I tried to watch the FW-190 and then the Sucky 31 and both of them have the engine sound completely overridden by the music.
What is the point of having a video praising the merits of the radial when you can't hear the darned thing?

I know Kmot...
Videos where done in Germany and they have a terrible taste in music
But, I will soon be recording my own. Got a 1/4 scale Focke Wulf almost ready to fly with a radial. NO music in that video.

Are you kidding? If you cant hear that radial over the music...you gotta be deaf.
The music is Glenn Miller. Its all period music, that fits with the airplanes yesteryear heritage.
You cant put Metallica to a Stearman Bipe...it just doesnt fit.
