I've been searching and searching etc.......for a set of plans for the Robin (OX-5 or Challenger engine versions). All I can find is an Ikon NW kit which is the right size, but I was wondering if anyone carries a set of plans that I can build from.
Thanks in advance!

I have used Cleveland plans on several occasions. They are typically well done plans, HOWEVER, you will most like need to do some modifications (beefing up, etc) since they were initially drawn up for rubber power. The plans I have seen from Cleveland have all been "scale" plans - not stand-off or semi-scale.

Go to http://www.flying-models.com In the plans directory, look for this one:
CF350 Curtiss Robin R/C Scale Antoine, Bill .45 61-1/2" span 11/74 issue $15.00

Scott,
Ralph Beck did a set of drawings for the Curtis Robin if you can find a set. It was span in the 80 inch range and I think showed both versions of the Robin. These plans are what I would term as 'super scale', I think the original Proctor Jenny kit was based on his drawings and if you have seen those plans you have an idea of what I mean.
I don't know if anyone still sells those drawings but if interested you might put an ad here and RCScaleBuilder and ask if anyone has them.

Ralph Beck no longer sells plans due to product liability concerns. This caused Proctor to do some "redesign" work on the Jenny to relieve him of this liability problem. So, if you do find a set of Curtiss Robin plans, you're one lucky fellow.

IKON Nwest used to sell kits of both versions, in 1/5 scale. If you look long, and hard enough, there may be a kit or a set of plans out their on the auction sites.
