At the risk of starting a "Chevy vs Ford" thread, am looking to start aerobatics/3D and would appreciate some input... In G3, I have been impressed with the flight characteristics of the Ultimate bipe and Extra. Am happy with either kit or ARF and have looked at are the Carl Goldberg and Great Planes Ultimate kits, and the GP, CG and Graupner Extra ARFs and kits... Want to use a .60 size due to storage limitations and overall costs, and have four questions for the aerobatics/3D gurus..... Open to suggestions!

1) Is the Ultimate or Extra better for a first fully aerobatic airplane?

2) Which is the best .60 size Ultimate - (either kit or ARF)?

3) Which is the best .60 size Extra - (either kit or ARF)?

4) What 4S engines are best for these airplanes?

I am flying the goldberg 10-300 with an Saito 120 Fantastic Only things I would change is The Cowl,W/Pants and U/Carriage For fibre glass items This was built buy a friend who sold it after having had enough of the 75 ASP Which was U/Powered! So I was johny on the spot,I Am not a builder But He built & Covered in 2 weeks I Believe the ARF of this is just as good !! Have not known only read about But Comes with Glass Cowl &W/Pants

Thanks, Rob... Been looking at the Goldberg Ultimate - I like its unsual lines... kinda surprised it was underpowered with the .75...[:-] May have to rethink the engine range.
