I feel it's a sure thing we will. Now to get the H outa Houston. I'll be putting the computer away tomorrow afternoon and may not be back on line for a day or three but I'm here and I'll be back.

For those of you that have been looking for plans for the Gee Bee QED, Doc has a set that he might be able to get to you.
You can contact him though this Forum.
He is a great guy and I am sure that he will work with anyone that would like to get their hands on a set of these plans and BTW Fiberglass Specialties still makes the Fiberglass Cowl and Wheel Pants for this beautiful bird.

I hope I am not too late here, I have a Miss Los Angeles I bought pre-built, and her wing is made much the same as your GeeBee in your photos, 2 main spars, 1 upper spar and 1 lower spar, well my wing flexed a lot, it really needed shear webbing,

see more GeeBee QED photos here

I really hope I am wrong about your wing !!

I added ply boxes around my spars for added strength.

Progress is being made, landing gear will be delivered on Tuesday, and I’ll install them ASAP. Flight controls are next on the list..

you are doing a good job there, that wing with all that sheeting should be much stronger than my Miss Los Angeles wing
