RE: New Cessna 310 ARF
Where is the Back window. unless it is a 1971 Q, It is hard to tell from these pix if it is an R or Q. all R's have the rear glass.
the first Q's had the streight back fuse.

Nope, just an arf. If it is very popular, Who knows what will follow.
It seams like after TF did the scale Cessna 182. everyone in the world followed. But they were all arf's.

RE: New Cessna 310 ARF
Hi Guys, I did the math from a full scale diagram of the R model, which was introduced in 1975. This model would have to have a total lenth of 70" for it to be the long nose version. Its only 61" long so that means its the short nose version as gh said. Maybe fiberglass specialties would be interested in making a glue on perfectly scaled glass nose piece 9" long??? The nose and the rear window in the fuse would get it pretty close to the 310R. I have a pair of Enya .60"s in a Byron Barron 58 and it is way fast with the 75" ws it has. Add 6" more wing and tip tanks and it would be just right with .60's or even OS .50's would do it. This plane also needs a Twin Sync engine syncroniser from RCshowcase. You lose an engine, and the high drag on the dead side is gonna get yer attention !!! Rick

Well, I guess I'll be the first one to nitpick this fine, gorgeous model airplane. Looks to me like they got the windshield and window lines wrong, particularly, the lowbrow windshield upper edge, looks more like a Piper Aztec than a 310. And the side windows and rear side windows have the wrong aspect ratio-- should be longer and narrower. The fuselage roof is a bit too domed, again, more like an Aztec. And the tip tanks don't extend far enough forward of the wing leading edge.
Jeesh, am I a niggling, carping quibbler, or what?

BUT, if they are designing something like this from scratch & tooling up to mold bits why not do it right? - John.

I think this is more of a "stand off" scale model, if you stand off 15 feet it will look totally scale. I would still buy one, budget willing
