I saw an article in either RCR,RCM,MAN or MA about converting a servo to continually rotate for use in opening a canopy via a lead screw affair. Has anyone seen this article and can remember which mag and issue it was in? I'm pretty sure it was either in 2002 or 2001. Thanks

I haven't seen the article you are refering to but I have another suggestion, if you like. I use an air cylinder like those used on pneumatic retracts. You can control the direction easily enough plus the rate of opening and closing. It's simple to hook up and can use the same tank as the gear...........just tee it in. Just a thought.
Good Luck,
