Default Lockheed C-130

I have been looking for plans, or a kit to build a C-130 of at least 100" wingspan. Hobby People is back ordered till at least mid May or later.
Tried to get a hold of some Palmer plans (I really like this one), but the phone has been disconnected or something so no luck there. I tried a
couple of other places but so far nothing. Does anyone have or know where I could buy a set of plans for the C-130, as I would like to build one,
and have it ready for a flyin in June if I could.

Thanks in advance
Ralph V.

Thanks Guys

Jet hangar hobbies is a bit pricey, they claim it's 1/10th scale but it's just a hair over 1/12th scale, and the price $1295.00 to $2245.00 WOW. Fiberglas fuse, and foam wings.
I don't know how much information on the single page of plans that MAN offers I can get, but ordered it anyway. $29.95 for one sheet of plans. Just mabey.
But just in case I didn't get enough info from these plans, I ordered a 1/48th scale kit I can use as a last resort to measure, and draw up my own set of plans if I have to.
I read some where that some one else did that. I would still like to get a hold of the Palmer plans if I can, from what I herd ,and seen they seem to be the best out there so far.
I will try to keep you informed of what I do, I am still waiting to here from one more option I have, so far the phone number worked, just got an answering machine, so mabey
there is some hope yet to save me a lot of work. Either way I will have a C-130 of at least 100" ready for a June event.

Thanks again
Ralph V.

Ralph V: My local Hobby People store (Encino) has the new C-130 on the shelf already. Hobby People has the planes in their warehouse. They are trying to sort out a way to ship them without it costing the customer a ridiculous UPS charge.

Kmot,

Do you have a phone number or an E-mail address for the Hobby People store in Encino ?
Mabey I could call them and buy it from them, and they could ship it to me, It's worth a shot.

Thanks

Kmot,

I found the number in Encino, and yes they have one but they can't mail it to me. They did give me a number to call costomer services, but they won't be open until Monday.
I'll try them after work on Monday, and see what they can do for me.

Thanks again

The Skip Mast one is the one from M.A.N., I have allready ordered it. The one thing that concerns me is it's only one sheet,
(it must be one really big sheet) hopefully there is enough information on it to build from, I would think that they give you
enough for the basic shape, and the scale details would be up to the builder to find for them self. Thats why I also ordered
a 1/48 scale model, most of the time you get a lot of detail from those little plastic kits. I'll just have to wait and see, untill
then I'll keep looking, and trying.

Thanks

Ralph, just came back to this thread. Since you already got the number, I don't think there is anything else I can do. Unless you want me to purchase the model and hand deliver it to you.

Ralph, I guess you didn't catch my humor in that last post. I was joking. CA to MI is a bit of a drive.

Kmot,

I know, I was just messin with ya. But I did call Hobby People again, and they said there was 32 on back order, NO way till May 15th. I did find some Plans on E-Bay
not what I was looking for but they are going to have to do for now, so I ordered them also.

Thanks
Ralph V.
