I have had this plane for 6 years and it is still in one pice! I want to replace the kit nose gear with the robart #654 Anyone had experience? Also the batteries in the radio are 10 years old. I have no problems at all and do cycle them. I am going to replace my airborne pack with a new 1200ma pack. The transmitter batts
are still holding a charge for 1.5 hours!

The Robostrut (654) makes the plane. just be sure to rake it forward a bit for a most scale appearance.
You can see mine with the robostrut at http://home.san.rr.com/aircor

Default 654 Robostrut

Here are a couple of images of the 654 Robostrut on my 182.
looks good all "grimed up". It stays well oiled as it is directly in the exhaust flow.
