I have been looking at this Extra 330 that I liked but when I mentioned it to someone at the field, he told me to stay away from 330 and 300, they do not have tapered wings or or something. I' m confused.. Any pictures explaining this? He has a 260

???? Why! All these Edge:s ,CAP:s and Extra: s fly more or less the same...rather good.Not the best flyers though.
It all depends on your own flying ability to handle low winged airplanes and to build them light.

It would be helpful to know which Extra you are considering. There are plenty of very nice flying Extras out there and just because a particular one has a bad reputation does not mean that all Extras will have the same bad tendencies, quite the contrary actually.
